9/26/26 - Fall Grass Planting 1046 Broadway & Hart Street, Brooklyn, NYWe have spent the summer revitalizing our tree beds: taking care of the soil, building tree guards. Now we are on the final installment of our project: planting grass! We are hoping this will beautify our beds but also encourage folks to not throw trash and take better care of our outdoor space.
We will be planting: Chasmanthium latifolium, commonly known as river oats or northern sea oats. The day will consist of picking up trash, prepping the soil and planting seeds.
